Number of SMS units consumed will be calculated according to the length of the message and whether the message is Plaintext or Unicode. For Plaintext messages, 1 SMS unit is 160 characters. If the length of the SMS exceeds, 7 characters are used for defining the UDH for concatenation per SMS unit (SMS units are calculated in multiples of 153). For Unicode messages, 1 SMS unit is 70 characters. If the length of the SMS exceeds, SMS units are calculated in multiples of 67.
