A split campaign, in the context of email, is the process of sending one variation of your campaign to a subset of your subscribers and a different variation to another subset of subscribers, with the goal of working out which variation of the campaign garners the best results.

The split campaigns can vary in complexity, and simple A/B tests can include sending multiple subjects.

Log in to your Octane account.

Click on the client's name on the left side.

Go to create send and select the split campaign option.

You can create two or more groups to determine the best campaign to send based on the best subject line, open rate, click rate, etc.

Select the recipients for this campaign and click on next.

Define the campaign for your account and select versions. Note: If you need to test on more than 3 versions, please contact support.

Split the rule according to the versions selected.

Schedule the delivery of your campaign as per your requirement.
