Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) has announced new Telecom Commercial Communications Customer Preference Regulations (TCCCPR) in July'19 2018 which was updated again on Dec'21 2018, to combat unsolicited commercial communication and maintain transparent system in the Indian telecom industry. This will help further secure subscriber privacy and mitigate fraudulent activities and control Unsolicited Commercial Communication (UCC).
